CHICKEN produces portable, efficient C, supports almost all of the current Scheme language standard, the Revised5 Report on the Algorithmic Language Scheme (R5RS ), and includes many enhancements and extensions. CHICKEN runs on MacOS X, Windows, and many Unix flavours.
